What form of exercise works best for you?
My name is Cathleen Brewster and I have been working in the fitness industry for more than 30 years. I am a certified Personal Trainer, also certified in YogaFit, Mat Pilates, Silver Sneakers, Barre, Aqua Arthritis, and CPR.
Most recently I have been classes at-
The Royal Grace Academy of Dance, Pilates at Studio 8, UNC Wellness, and Governors Club. Also 5 classes per week on the computer via Zoom and in my home.
What is Yoga-lates ?
Yoga-lates is a mixture of stretching and strength exercises. Yoga, (basic functional stretches), lates,(Pilates exercises). And a little like calisthenics with very low impact cardio.

Classes Descriptions;
Each class is either a 45 - 55 minutes long. We typically begin with a short warm-up before getting into the exercises. I make it a point during every class to show options for most of the exercises and poses. I always allow approximately 30 seconds of deep breaths before transitioning in to the next phase during a class.
